Drake successfully blended rap & singing on TC & NWTS, which is why they’re so beloved
Nicki kept the songs more separate to appeal to a wider audience on PF & PF:RR, and those albums aren’t regarded so highly
There’s no comparison between Drake and Nicki as artists. 0. Drake is a generational artist.

Br00sesI thought they liked Kendrick for his deep hard hitting lyricism in his music and managing to be mainstream while avoiding mainstream tropes
But he released that radio bait album after the success of nlu and they ate it up? I like some of the songs but the stans reaction was interesting. I figured that would have disappointed a lot of them apart from a couple songs

That's what everyone thinks it is, and the other side has already painted this stupid comparison between the album name and Ice. If he goes with another name now it's gonna look like he folded again and it sucks away some excitement tbh. Makes the rollout even more disjointed.
