If he's trying to tell us why he's referencing the Iceman, it seems like he's fueling MORE into the independent route lore. B/c that entire scenario (the related Kimi walking to the yacht pictures) is because he was tired of his team due to repetitive engine failures (in this case that would be UMG) and he decided to step away from the table so to speak. His team asked him / damn near begged him to come to the debrief session but he went to be alone instead.

• the retirement stuff doesn't make sense, he's coming with a partynextdoor album, he got all that music he's worked on prior to beef while he was touring and he's got apparently conductor music, other music we don't know about and he's talked about on CLB, HL that he's going to kick it in high gear soon.
