Nail on the head. Something about 40’s sound and vibe that helps Drake tap into that introspection he was most known for in the beginning. Noel does a great job mimicking him as a producer technically but there’s no soul.

As someone who’s lives in Texas and went to UofH, the intro is needed. It adds so much to the song if you went to one of those schools
