Probably the years of the same repetitive and generic microwaved trap bullshit that dominated mainstream rap for most of this decade and people growing tired of the same old s*** over and over again.
Just a guess.
Outside of the mainstream it's been a ton of great hip-hop albums that have come out this decade.
