in a way its surprising because the rollout for these onto DSPs was a bit sloppy so figured they were more of a throwaway
but at the same time its not surprising because these songs seem to be doing well in terms of feedback, not sure about streaming numbers I haven't looked

On the same day that former President Trump claimed before a national gathering of Black journalists that Vice President Kamala Harris “was Indian all the way, and then all of a sudden she made a turn, and she became a Black person,” his running mate Sen. JD Vance accused Harris of being a “phony” who “grew up in Canada” (she attended high school in Montreal) and used “a fake Southern accent” at a rally.
Both men’s accusations sound eerily like those leveled against the rapper Drake by his fellow hip-hop titan Kendrick Lamar (and many others) in a rap beef whose effects linger. Drake has been accused of being a “colonizer” whose Canadian identity and eager embrace of various aspects and accents of a wide range of Black culture make him racially suspect.
Such arguments, whether made by racially troubled white men or Black icons, deny the complexity and diversity of Blackness.

drake needs a drop with a proper rollout, but with these going on DSPs I think hes flooding the market a bit when combined with all the features lately
wouldve been best for these to stick on 100gigs.org and have a proper rollout for a scary hours pack or a pnd collab single late august or early/mid september

OR have these drop on 100gigs.org then put them on dsps officially with a music video at the same time
this spread out "umg took it down", no release at 12:01am then putting them on DSPs with no promo at a random hour, and now a potential music video like a week later for songs that are flopping, seems messy

There’s something coming, if @davey is correct with the what he’s heard (i can’t tell if he’s trolling or being for real) and it’s a video for Its up with BGR playing at the end of the video, they’re planning a drop.
It sounds like the Jungle video, somethings coming, that’s the only way a video makes sense.

would have to be expanding on it, ie. 100gigs is the "single" (even tho we got 3) from an album/bigger project
if its just "heres a video for that random song thats flopping that we dropped unofficially" idk if it'll have an impact

I get it, I think it’s leading towards an album, I genuinely believe his next album is coming before the collab album and it’s just dropping, no promo, I know a lot of you guys want a roll out but I think this is it and the album/tape will just drop at random, not even on a Friday
even if theres no promo leading up to it, there needs to be proper promo post drop
im a fan of all the music drake is dropping and at the end of the day i dont care if its a top 10 song or not personally
BUT drake has clearly made that part of his brand and it was a focal point of the beef and i think to move on from it Drake should get himself back into that position
100gigs did amazing things for his brand and PR in terms of the accusations again him, now its time to bring back the drake stimmy for real
