I'm not comparing it because it's Taylor's newest album, I'm comparing it because Showgirl has the highest first week sales for an album ever. When you hear that, you would assume that means the songs on it are pretty well known, right? But that's not the case, because the music industry is completely different now than it was in the 80s. You can have the biggest album in the world now and sell out stadiums without being ubiquitous, that was impossible when Thriller released.
I would say the 3 biggest songs on Graduation are more well known than the 3 biggest songs on Taylor's last album

This a Drake thread but I'd even go further and say there are no 5 songs on a T Swift album that can go up against Can't Tell Me Nothing, Good Life, Stronger, and I Wonder as far as just being known but Taylor is the best selling artist stuff like that never makes sense to me you can never trust "sales" anymore
