They're not good at all for exercising tbh
too heavy and they have a problem with moisture retention. OP noise cancellation / sound quality / transparency mode / device switching though

I don’t use them to exercise, I mainly use them stationary to watch tv or in plane or on my computer. But they’re not really loose. No marathon running or anything crazy like that but people use them a lot in the gym. They’re well built enough that I don’t think they’ll be much slippage.
Main thing is personal though, I wouldn’t want to have to replace the mesh cups due to sweat damage, but if you’re ok with it, then it’s good.

Do you need headphones? If not, I’d say just wait for the Max 3s (should be following the introduction of the H3 chip which is later this year). If you just want to drop the cash and don’t care, yeah definitely
Tbh I don't think there's any chance the Maxes will get upgraded with the H3 this year. It took years for the H2 to come to the Maxes so I'm even kinda skeptical about them getting upgraded in 2027, but we'll see. I do really hope the rumors of them getting a lighter redesign for the Max 3 is true
I definitely don't need new headphones -- I have Pro 3s, QC Ultra and AirPods Max 1 -- but my OG Maxes have Lightning still and I really want to get rid of all my Lightning s*** loooolll
