Not much to be said that hasn't been said already. Classic in every sense of the word. Drake took the foundation he laid with So Far Gone and evolved it into something more singular, mature, and defining. This album has some of the best production and engineering I've ever heard on a hip-hop album, 40 belongs in the Hall of Fame for this project alone.
One very minor gripe I have is that I think the sequencing is perfect with the exception of Practice, that song always feels out of place coming right before The Ride. That song's placement led me to develop a theory about why Drake prefers to craft longer projects: I know he always says that it's because his fanbase expects so many different styles from him, but I think another factor might be a result of the experience he had with Thank Me Later, where the label's oversight led to a project that he felt was rushed. Maybe from Drake's POV he views shorter albums as limiting rather than seeing them as a challenge to be concise (which is funny considering that's exactly what 40 challenged him to do on his very next album).
But yeah, Take Care is a classic. 9/10

Yeah their falling out was weird. I think it was a little more than the Bobbi interview. Elliot gave him some softballs too but he was always a good interview. He overcompensated like hell boosting Kendrick

I just can’t imagine someone riding for Drake during that time period and saying hey let me edit out the verse where Drake insinuates Dave Free might be Whitney’s baby daddy to deflect the criticism of the song. S*** just made me laugh and thought I’d share with the class

Dr Lee PhDWell that’s because nobody harped on drake lying the same way drake stans did about Kendrick, bcuz it’s a battle and it doesn’t matter.
Maybe they should have but unfortunately being accused of domestic abuse isn’t going to ruin you in the industry

It’s a 10/10 for me but I do agree about the sequencing. I think Practice should’ve been a bonus track even though I like it

Alien_I really wish he just dedicated 6 minutes to Kendrick. no one would have cared if he didn't reply to Rick Ross and the 2 subliminal bars Rocky and future had for him. It wasn't worth replying too.
