Raw, hard-hitting, incredibly lyrical. Still sounds fresh and modern, this couldāve dropped today and it wouldnāt have sounded out of place at all. That opening 6 song stretch is a challenger for the best stretch on any Drake project ever. I do see what he means when he always says that they cut corners on this tape and thatās why itās not really considered a studio album, the second half isnāt as undeniable as the first half is. Still, the great stuff on here is great enough to make up for it, also I really would have loved to hear what the DJ Drama version wouldāve been, that wouldāve made it even crazier! 8/10

My first listen of IYRT is still one of the most vividly memorable music experiences of my life. He really cemented himself with that one
I had stolen a bottle of whiskey and my high school girlfriend had left me. I didnāt even know it was dropping. Iāll never have an album drop like that again in my life.
