I setup the vlans
I can add my pc to the Vlan network
I setup the switch to route Vlan traffic to my routers network
Router is connected to modemBut my pc cant connect to the internet. Help!
Either your vlan has no gateway, or the switch is not routing between VLANs, missing DNS, wrong access ports.
First check PC IPconfig (ipconfig on windows or ip addr in Linux)
You should see:
IP address
subnet mask
default gateway
DNS serverIf you don't see default gateway, your Internet will fail immediately.
Also, ping your PC then ping the VLAN gateway to test connectivity
