I’m not the biggest drake fan, but come on, just off the cult of personality, I’m excited for this.

Worst case like any Drake album there will be 4-5 songs I really enjoy and best case is it’s something that’s meant to be a statement piece.

It’s a high stake album pun intended. I think it will be good.

    Enjoy the ride family

    If this album isn’t a classic, I’m killing mys*lf 🤷‍♀️

    Get the funeral preperation started.

are you the h-town rob guy on twitter who previews unreleased lyrics?

    Nah lol

This is true, but being Team enter artist here and automatically dissing or discrediting music from another artist who might be at odds with them is the dumbest s*** ever. A sure fire way to miss out on great music in your life.

Or just listen and act like you hate for fun of the game.

  • Shoutout rob tho

Her loss release night was so f***ing wild, from the stories that mfer was uploading to ig to the great mix we got on Sound 42 and finally the album being a f***ing banger

sexy red, central cee, little baby, future and yeat features with tons of autotune from drake throughout the 20+ tracks album. yeah get the rope ready

Its weird that people take such polarizing sides when it comes to kbot or drake, saying you cant enjoy both of them. Been a huge Drake fan for more than a decade yet I enjoyed Morale and GNX heavily, yeah the last one is not as good but still

So played out , people need better things to do. Also not like us got played out sooooo fast. I cringe/skip when i hear it now because everyone and their mother hopped on it and it lost its luster accordingly

unpopular opinion, but I think hip hop media should accept Drake for what he is and somewhat protect his legacy or at least put it in the right context like other genre journalists do.

That doesn’t mean you can’t critique. But these journalists really eat off drama or failure as their headline and idk I think it’s a net negative for how the genre is perceived overall.

And that’s not just a Drake issue, it’s the reporting around a lot of artists. lol.

Just cheapens the final product which is the music.

Rory already on the podcast today talking about "he hates the moment it is gonna be"

They already making it about everything else, rather than music

These hip-hop media dudes be full of s***

He even s***ted on the whole roll-out about it being streamed and mocking the "easter eggs" in it

    Then saying "but good marketing"

    So why s*** on it?

Mind you, he used to work in marketing at Sony before going full podder

These dudes just be hating because they aint as good or great as Drake

They are not as talented nor as smart

So they have to s***, hate and make stuff up

  • I heard he's sampling the johnny test theme song for the intro

Yeah that’s what turned me away from Drake “hate.” lol like you have media personalities who will roll ads for gambling 24/7 and then talk about Drake’s Stake deal like he’s Satanic. Then you have the NY casino ventures. Lol it’s just very hard to take it seriously.

i dont f*** with album review critics they dont know s*** and it was cool to hate on Drake especially after the beef. s*** is weird i feel like too many disingenuous people out there shouldn't have the platform or privilege to speak for the masses, and now there's so many back pedaling gangs.

    Yeah, its hilarious

And Im pretty sure Rory has actually done that verbatim

S***ting on Drake betting on Stake and whatnot

Then does ads for gambling companies on the pod

He really also been s***ting on streamers and streaming in general. Especially mentioning in relation to Drake, his roll-out and Drake just being in that community somewhat.

However, Rory and the pod done streams at their studio where they invited fans to hang-out

    Like which one is it?

Then saying stuff like "good marketing" after just hating the roll-out.

I don’t trust Rory. That piece of s*** said Drake bit DRAM’s sound on every More Life song. Now he wants to ride d***? I’m getting side switcher vibes from him

And streamers, as much as these people hate to admit it, and I am not really into streamer culture, is the newest and best media outlet today.

That’s why Kendrick allowed streamers to be a big component of live reacting to his songs during the battle. Nothing wrong with that.

It’s just how they narrate it is kinda silly and illogical depending on context.

Rory is a hater, both in public and behind the scenes.

Yet hides behind "but Im a fan". Sheesh... have we heard that before?

Meanwhile, been s***ting on every project since Views and every other little thing Drake does.

He is also friends with and regularly talk to artists, producers and execs around the industry.

Of course, he is gonna protect all his relationships in the industry that is anti-Drake and choose the side or people that supports him. Sounding like Ebro.

It is not hard to understand that and he has been doing it for years. He is very backhanded compliment on matters and quick to be critical, which is a huge tell.

It is just dumb that he still pretends to play both sides and act like in the middle or that he can be objective, when his actions and what he says is so far removed from that.

It is just annoying to hear him s*** on the "moment" and being upset about the "nastyness" outside of the music... like why even get into that? It is like one is purposefully wanting to take away as much of it from the actual music, while spewing he is all about the music at the end of the day. It just doesnt add up.
