i think Ross was right behind Wayne and TI 2006-2008 and then right behind Kanye and Wayne 2008-2011 with Drake being the new big dude and future superstar out the younger artists alongside Cole and fully taking control 2014 onwards
right behind but never #1 basically being my point, there was absolutely a point were Ross had incredible aura and was even seen by some as a HOV type figure when it came to the business end of things and having wale and meek under MMG. In terms of purely rapping I really don't think there's ever point where he was infront of the people you referenced he was right behind of
