Eh i'm still not so certain, I rather believe the simplest explanation is that Kendrick got some wrong info, which drake had nothing to do with, said it in MTG and drake was like wtf and made a IG story.

Kendrick could have receipts too tho so we can see them both go scorched earth and why they held back before. You'd think they would've started with NLU and Family Matters if that was really the endgame for them but it makes sense if you consider it wasn't
