HaroldsChickenI bought the album and I said it was an appetizer when it dropped . If it’s a 3-5 year wait after that it’s crazy to me . Solid songs don’t get me wrong . Some that don’t age that well .

Obviously not completely on topic to the album but I know that west coast connection was important to Drake reaching a broader audience I mean s*** The Motto being literally one of his biggest songs and linking with Mustard and them. Just wish it didn’t go down like that and definitely understand when it goes beyond the music and reaches community that it’s not as simple as just saying oh it was just beef or it’s just a song
yeah every time he gives homage to west coast its always like a cosplay and unathentic - idk maybe if cuz im too close to the source but his homage to like opld south and east comes off way more authentic and thoughtful, while his west feels almsot like a mockery and thenm straight up biting - again while gnx had tasdteful and doope bayarea inspos and callbacks from the bayarea while still overall being its own thing and himself
but yeah - it sucks how much i became overall disillusioned with drake, same with kanye - one of the worst things in the world
