It is a fact the black population amongst Britain does not say it as much as USA, that why is said "barely" in comparison. Yeah, those British actors are saying it, when they're mostly getting American roles. I am clearly talking about cultural norms and social, not an outlier or unique situation. And I've actually seen an interview from Idris that he didn't say nigga himself in day to day and never really at all till he moved to USA for two years for early movie work or whatever.

Again lol I did not say it was non existent - and you can find tweets where they are also calling black americans ignorant for using nigga so carelessly. And a tweet norm is not a social norm.

Yeah Rap music is popular, they might say nigga to the song, but CULTURALLY it is not of the everyday in a lot of African countries, and it's rarer in comparison of British. These are known things already in the black community. In fact, black people in these places have their own general slang that doesn't really translate to USA blacks. Just like Canadian blacks use a lot of Jamaican slang because of their relationship of Jamaica and France. Which is a totally different cultural upbringing and ROOTS than American. Which is Kendricks point of Drake being Canadian, was "very Canadian" earlier in his career, but as time went on he "cosplayed" American black culture more and more while shedding Canadian black culture - from Kendricks POV

Drake has even admitted he didn't grow up saying nigga till like his pre teen/teen years and he was awkward af at saying it even having a slip up saying n1gger which would never happen with a USA black person and it's a word you hear for most since a baby. And not from media.

This is the deeper "black politics" from Kendricks angle that is about black culture, not black skin.

And 4 black americans didn't like my other posts for no reason, this is a general truth in black business.

And yeah if I hear a black person say nigga I imagine it's a black USA person most of the time. As I've already explained my own experience with African immigrants, in school and as today friends.

Shoutout to him cause he understood just one project isn’t enough to live up to the hype of this release after all the controversy. Also shuts up all the annoying deluxe conversations that surround albums now smh that whole deluxe convo is some gen z twitter s*** ngl.

By the end of the week someone will make the definite 2 disc version of this album that could very well be one of his best projects. This release just restored the feeling for me ngl and I’m not even the biggest Drake fan.

Overall 8/10 between all 3 projects

Honorable mention anyone who worked on the post production and engineering on these albums. Finally something that sounds like it cost money to make. Ngl some of the mixes that get passed off as professional industry mixes nowadays is embarrassing. That isn’t the case here the vocals and production sound incredible.

Honestly, Nevermind is literally a top 3 Drake album for me but Maid of Honour was a whole slog for me. I really wanted to like it especially with how people were describing it but I’m so disappointed.

Dust connecting on second listen a little better. Didn't care for it the first time
