It’s a light reference to the Kendrick line cause future and Drake are much deeper friends than Kendrick future . Kendrick just saw Opportunity of like that and future / team knew Kendrick being on it gets them eyes of casuals who wouldn’t listen without a verse like that .
Yeah I get that but future needs to explain himself he did 2 albums with metro with clear drake shots on them, to come back and just talk about the same ol s*** is kind of a let down, especially consider the deeper subject matter on the rest of the songs. I'm surprised drake didn't ask for another verse.
