I think there is a lot of meat on the bone for the higher level mainstream artists or even really smaller artists with a cult following. It will be interesting to see the future-state of music consumption and how artists garner a passionate following. I just know back in the day being able to check the OVO Blog and getting real updates was always cool to me or even early Twitter days. S*** honestly J Cole is sort of doing it with his site. I’d be curious what the traffic is on there but I have to imagine there is some type of active group on there and it’s paid access IIRCDrake talking about how he tryna start a revolution on Firm Friends got my mind racing, I really feel like he's plotting some s*** that could shake the industry up

Before ICEMAN era or even pre beef era I would’ve just figured Drake was cool with minimal promo and just dropping albums but the effort and personal capital he put into this album makes me agree. I think he wants to show he is the machine and I think there is A LOT of behind the scenes politics that are at play right now especially with him being out of his UMG deal
