This album was everything I expected it to be, but somehow surpassed it in ways that I didn’t.

Drake’s perspective feels so real. Like when he mentions things he’d done at the “height of my success” it feels like he has truly come to terms with being on the downslope of his career. It’s not a bad thing, it’s healthy and gave back the edge he carried from previous eras before Views (trying to climb back to the top).

Also remember when folks were saying he was gonna change the name ICEMAN lol
