I mean it depends on the song for sure, I am just not the biggest fan of the beat switches that feel like 2 different songs taped together. Most tracks don't need to be much more than 3 minutes anyway, we get 3 hooks and 2 verses. Obviously this isn't a blanket statement but feel like Drake does use that a crutch sometimes now a days.
And he only does this for his rap songs, we don't really see this as often on the other 2 albums.
