There is video evidence of it being played outside
Whatever gets you through the day, I guess
Have you heard it outside? At a club? Someone playing it in their car? Doubt it

Yes barring the club because I havenāt been to one since it dropped.
Just because you have a viewpoint doesnāt make it true bruh
To be completely fair to Drake, Make Them Cry is a good level of rapping (for him). A few other tracks are high level (for his standards). I give him credit for a big improvement in rapping skill (for his standard) but thereās a lot of songs here if you look at bar wise are absolutely trash. Itās easily digestible music you understand on first listen, the slicker bars donāt go over anybodyās head, and not all songs need to be like that sure. But if weāre saying heās the best rapper alive and above his peers rapping wise, thatās just wrong
Have you heard it outside? At a club? Someone playing it in their car? Doubt it
Just say you live in the suburbs
Just say you live in the suburbs
Thatās the one place they might be bumping this s***
A lot of the bars that haters focused on were missing the whole entendres or parts of it
People focused on the āhurts like Philly eaglesā but didnāt catch the āface the way they paint meā which sets up and adds to the meaning
Everyone focused on the āDubai/do butā but didnāt even catch the āI rack/iraqā in the same line

They arenāt hard to catch on first listen bro. I caught them first time. People that donāt just arenāt paying attention. Or they just listen to mainstream rap only, sure for that standard it would probably blow peoples minds. Itās a much higher level than Lil Wayne was ever at. Thatās literally why Drake is so successful, he keeps it simple for the masses to enjoy.

Kids bop level bars and flow
Well clearly it wasn't supposed to be a bar song dumbass
It's something you play outside dork
For all intents and purposes this is Drakeās Blueprint
When Hov dropped the Blueprint he was beefing with Nas and a lot of other characters were throwing shots at the Roc such as Prodigy, Jadakiss etc as well as different media outlets
Hov was 32 at the time which was a dinosaur in rapper years back then (the precedent for the 40 year old rapper hadnāt been set yet in 2001) and after a string of commercial rap projects that followed Reasonable Doubt people questioned weather or not he could deliver another classic and questioning if he was better than Big and if he was truly worthy of his status as King of NY
The Blueprint dropped with his best production and best flows ever and shut all that up
That is more or less what is happening with Iceman
Sure Drake is 39 but 39 in 2026 is pretty close to 32 in 2001 culturally, people age slower these days because we are all so online and childish

I know you were in missionary about these lyrics though

Whats wrong with last part of Ran To Atlanta ?
ICEMAN TURNT WHAT ELSE
Second part isnāt bad, just feel like it shouldāve been its own song
twisting it
When I first heard the beat drop on the hook
Lol, English is not my native language, I thought he says that he has some other album that he is not submitting, as his label wouldn't release it, but at the same time it is something that people want (I misheard word won), and then I interpreted words about positioning as every new album promoted as being the one that fans really waited for (like more bars or more melodic stuff).
Listening to GNX for the first time since this dropped
Both these mfs so nice man Drake and Kendrick are as good a pair of goats as any rap has ever seen
My top 5 Drake albums as of now. the new 3 are still in heavy rotation but not sure I place them
1. IYRTITL
2. WATTBA
3. Scorpion
4. NWTS
5. More Life
I love trap Drake, I think thatās where his best rapping lies. When he has to focus on flow more than bars the bars also end up being better. Also those trap beats are way harder than most modern ātime stampā
Style beats. The last super hard timestamp record was 4pm in calabasas
Plot twist and national treasure first half is good example of having to focus on flow first and foremost.
This is just my opinion tho

Wait hold up, the blue print 2 u mean
Ether hadnāt dropped yet when blue print came out

Ether was Nas's response to Takeover which was on The Blueprint
Nas dissed Jay-Z before the blueprint on his Paid in Full Freestyle (H to the OMO)
