They mostly just take up space for me.

Only make them cry is foreground music the rest are background music at best

Drakes rapping is best when he has to focus on flow more than lyrics

When he has too much space on the beat he’ll start getting lazy pen wise

The best rapping on this album is probably plot twist, janice, whisper my name first half or national treasures first half. All songs where he has to focus on flow and bounce

Everything in your post is somehow utterly wrong and nonsensical . Not sure how you accomplished that

I wonder what song Mal was talking bout when he was saying it was guaranteed to be #1 on here. I don’t think there’s an obvious “hit” song on here. Only song I feel like was intended for that ironically was 2 Hard 4 the Radio

    Janice?

If’s not just the entendres that make them impressive, I think you need to do a re listen man. Just say you want the energy back, calling them lazy writing is just plain ignorant

    It’s kind of lazy

    Not terrible

But bro’s had much better rapping

I am happy with iceman but it’s not his best rapping only a casual Drake fan is thinking that lol

    Janice?

Maybe but I definitely don’t see that as conventional Drake hit

IYRT is interesting because it’s the last time Drake made a stylistic “mixtape”

Was my favorite Drake project for a while but TC and NWTS have just aged beautifully. Meanwhile even tho I love songs like Know Yourself I rarely press play on em again

    Who’s ur 2nd favorite rapper?

ICEMAN is the closest thing to IYRT easily

It’s like a better IYRT meets Take Care

Omertà clears most of these signs in terms of technical writing 😂😂

I don’t take anyone seriously who wants Drake to rap like iyrtitl again. Classic mixtape and all but that s*** was Drake on easy mode and not trying. More focused on the energy than substance outside of a few songs. Hasn’t been top 5 in his discog since Scorpion

    Facts

Burning bridges is most charming song on Iceman I love that second half

“We G block babies we are not musicians!”

    My most played are

    1. Burning bridges
    2. Plot twist
    3. 2 Hard 4 the radio
    4. Shabang

Drake has at least 6 classics and there are levels to it. iyrtitl is on the lowest

The last half is especially beautiful

    Maneesh did solid.

I don’t have a issue with that as the intro but

    Make them pay
    Make them remember
    Make them know

Are a bit repetitive and monotonous.
Needed more energy production wise and vocally

30 for 30 freestyle clears all 3 of them. And honestly is insane foreshadowing

Whilst i like these songs i’d agree that the album needed another wavy track.

A New Orleans version of 4 PM in Calabasas or something like NFITI off of CLB.

    It’s missing a Vinylz/Allen Ritter beat.
