Nah he should have just kept making good albums (minus steppers ) and stayed in the 3-5 ranking of rap. Instead his weakness and hatred and jealousy made him lie and parade around while propped up by Jay and industry to defame and tear down the artist he’s been dying to be his whole career. Well I don't think the basis of winning the battle was these truths needing to trickle out. Because we're just as far away from that as we are from finding proof that Kendrick beat his fiancé and/or is fathering a child that isn't his.

It was two dudes that really dislike each other seeing who could be the most disrespectful, showcase skill, and make the hottest tracks that makes waves while not making sub-par tracks in this battle span. And the insults need to be based on past actions and personas, which both Kendrick and Drake did well. One of them was more consistent, out-strategized the other, and didn't make any tracks that were looked at as sub-par in context of the battle (Heart Pt. 6). I don't think it needs to be more complicated than that. The battle is now two years old.

Dammit now deep pockets and other online Drake stans will be forever upset at Kendrick, f*** man why couldn’t he just prioritize your feelings instead of easily winning the biggest battle ever, so selfish of him
