Based on how I feel today Iceman is Drake’s 3rd best album while CLB is his 12th best so yeah pretty big gap

Maid of honor is fun in doses but it really might be the boy worst project to date

That says more about how solid the others are though and less about MOH being unlistenable/horrendous

Views, HNM, & $$$4U all like just shy of an 8 for me like 7.8/10 territory

CLB, Habibti, Scorp, DLDT, & FATD all like 7.5/10 give or take a decimal point

TML like the quintessential 7/10 Drake album imo

Maid of Honor like just under a 7 for me like a 6.8/10

How does your rating system work? Do you just rate an album overall on a feeling?

Well all of those that I just came up were kind of guesses off the top of my head based on what I remember but if I really broke it down technically which I often do I rate each track individually on a scale of 1 to 10 (obviously based on different elements such as writing performance production etc) then I average those scores. Finally I give the album a score based on the impression I get from it, kinda like the gut reaction, and intangible score. Then I add that with the song averages and it gives me my final score.

I don't use the term classic but you could say so.

In my opinion even his weakest songs are still listenable and have enjoyable elements and if there was a long enough break inbetween listens I can listen to every of his project without skipping a song front to back.

I'm german so I probably don't really notice quality differences in his lyrics as much as a native speaker. Otherwise he is just super consistent, therefore the small margins.
