I cannot imagine someone in 2026 who actually has the “I like Drake with the melodies not when he raps tough” opinion. It’s s*** you’d see in 2012 forum posts

Can you imagine someone who bumps Habibti/$$ nonstop but hears a rap song off Iceman and is like “turn that corny s*** off”

Drake is a collaborator. It would mean the same thing it did when he put Kendrick on take care. He’s always been about making good music

I see what you’re saying but I don’t really agree. They’re both in way different places than they were during Take Care. They’ve had open ended hostility but from what I understand it was an olive branch to make a moment between the biggest rap stars of our gen

The production on ICEMAN is great, any rapper would sound great on, just go listen to all the covers- way better bars

What's corny is thinking everything a person says over a hot beat is hot...

    i really doubt it

he doesnt care anymore to appease people that dont want to see him win, its over with all that

I’d believe it too if he didn’t link back up with Future. People can say what they want about the extent of what was said but imo it was a definitive line on what side you were on and clearly he wasn’t afraid of reaching across that line for reconciliation

Sure that’s what you see it as but Drake’s history tells us how he sees collabs. He works with an insane amount of underground artists. He was doing songs with Cole way before fps. He was beefing with Jay while still having him on his songs. If it’ll make a good song or moment he’s always for it. Also kendrick feature game is not even that strong for Drake to be thinking like that, unlike Cole who goes extra hard on features

    This actually happened

  • goretex

    nah kill urself fr

    quick example

how many rappers jump on ICEMAN beats

how many producers are actually using Drake's acapella's

how many quotes are actually hitting like oh shyt he said what!!!

Take Jcole's acapella's and place those on Iceman beats, then vice versa with Drake on The Fall Off...

    mind blowing huh

and yes, music producers would take great verses and remake beats with them just the same as the beat jacking goes for rappers.

Jayz picnic freestyle was meh...maybe one line...but there's a lot of remixes of it with production behind it.

Drake use to get that love...when the bars where there.

that picture is like spitting on MJ grave...

those that truly love MICHAEL JACKSON would feel that way because Drake is everything MJ disliked.

MJ never like ghostwriters or copycats

future didn cosign anything dot was doing after like that. up to this point it was regular beef s*** with subs going back and forth.

once the beef really kicked off and NLU started, the people that were celebrating his demise are the ones he wont patch up things with.

with that being said, i think the future things is also more of a business reconciliation compared to them being best buds again.

but no way he patches up things with bums like ross who have no value for his personal life or career atp

I agree with the last two points. I really meant more like Bron and Cole. I don’t think Rick Ross, ASAP, Abel (even though again lbr lol), Metro and Dot are people he’s actively seeking to be pals with lol
