Drake is the greatest rapper that has ever lived

    Like, seriously

Objectively he has as good an argument as anyone

I feel like the biggest knock on him is even though he has classics relative the eras he’s been active in he doesn’t really have serious greatest rap album of all time contenders

Like CD, LR, GRAD, MBDTF and GKMC and TPAB all can make a case for one of the top 10 greatest rap albums ever released

Even RD, BP, and TBA have that status any one of those can be thrown in the goat rap album conversation and be taken seriously

Em has MMLP, Wayne has C3 these are all unanimously revered albums in any circle

I feel like the closest thing to that Drake has to this day is Take Care and even with that I don’t think most people would objectively argue TC as one of the 10 greatest rap albums ever, maybe top 20 or 30

Still though his discography is actually wayyy more consistent than it’s given credit for (Way more consistent than Wayne and Eminem even Jay to an extent imo) so I think that is also another side to the argument

I'm still not over the new vocal tone Drake found 20+ years into his career on Whisper My Name That hook is so f***ing cold

Whisper my name I think is my favorite song on iceman

  • Just bought a bottle of Cloudar

    My goodness gracious

when Dont Worry hits you, your life changes.

Yeah on Ep 4 stream I didn’t rock w it at all and found it kinda grating/obnoxious

Absolutely love it now it’s so catchy

  • Brother this s*** smells incredible

  • Finally stopped listening to Iceman everyday, now it's HABIBTI

  • calzone jones

Imagine not liking all this music? I really can’t. Some of these people are f***ing weirdos

  • PAINMAN

I cannot imagine someone in 2026 who actually has the “I like Drake with the melodies not when he raps tough” opinion. It’s s*** you’d see in 2012 forum posts

Can you imagine someone who bumps Habibti/$$ nonstop but hears a rap song off Iceman and is like “turn that corny s*** off”

    They have Drake derangement syndrome

This nigga really a super hybrid rapper

He is often compared to Hov which is valid since they both balance being commercial rappers and conversational/braggadocio lyricist, both have that patented effortless relaxed overly confident matter of fact delivery, both have goated double entendre abilities, both have an affinity for rapping over soul samples (Jay 70s Soul, Drake flips 90s rnb both eras were the era of their respective childhoods), both are business savvy capitalists that use that as a theme in their music

But he’s also so many other legends, he’s got the play boy rnb coded vibes that Biggie had on some of his biggest hits, He’s simultaneously the “white boy” like Eminem with his half Jewish identity being a big part of his identity as an artist, he’s genre blender like Ye and one of the artists that evolved out of the 808s and Heartbreak sound and he also knows how to come up with unserious provocative one liners that are catchy in the same way Ye did, he’s a workaholic like Weezy features on features, projects on projects, tapes albums etc and he spits a lot of similes like Weezy and he also has the ability to rap well on any beat like Weezy (trap, pop, boom bap, whatever)

Drake’s worst album is still a solid album with songs people enjoy. Eminem and Nas have put out legit trash

I really believe Drake hate atp is coming from a place of powerlessness, contrarianism, jealousy, and self hate

I think he has the best discography of any mainstream rapper.

But I don't really care for most of them, so take my opinion with a grain of salt
