Ngl thinking about this, I wonder what kind of foreign support Hitler had before he rose to power

Edward VIII was a fascist sympathizer who was even king for a short while

Multiple major US businessmen such as Charles Lindbergh and the Prescott Bush (George Bush’s dad) planned to overthrow the US government and instate a fascist dictator with German sympathies

The UK and France declined to create an anti-fascist coalition with the USSR in the mid-1930’s

Many countries in the Middle East like Iraq, Iran, and Afghanistan held sympathies to the Germans because of foreign aggression from the Western Allies and the Soviets

There were even Nazis in India

I'm not, even though it definitely does influence it. But even if I wasn't a communist I would be against NATO expansion, especially when it's about a country in a territorial dispute with a nuclear superpower, don't wanna dramatically increase the chances of a nuclear war like that regardless of ideology, do you?

i dont want countries thinking they can invalidate the boundaries of sovereignty regardless of what kind of bully think they are

    and im pro-nato expansion

He’s been moving closer to Russia and China every day

Probably because he wants a good counter to Indian nationalism rising

No I mean like foreign money, not just people being fans of the dude. Hitler had a lot of fans everywhere I know, dude was even a star apparently in Ethiopia and Somalia.

I mean support like how we're supporting Azov now

I mean during the 30s before the Nazis atrocities were known it’s not surprising i know a lot of Indian activists that “supported” him cause he went against Britain

I think in the lead up to the war much of Germany’s economy relied on autarky and an attempt at self sufficiency supported by the global profits of its multiple industries like BMW, Siemens, Krupp, Daimler Benz, etc.

They first built their economy by encouraging military buildup using domestic and foreign-sources resources. Once that was completed it was mostly a looting economy

Their economics were pretty incoherent and was underlaid by the success of its biggest corporations

iirc there was a massive revival of nazi support in somalia like the last 5-6 years or something and there was a legit nazi youth league restarted or something in Mogadishu
