I think so, probably also at least functional autonomy in the Donbass republics. But I don't think we will ever find out because Zelensky will probably not concede on the Crimea. I genuinely think he's delusional about that, in spring 2021 he apparently said the Crimea would be in the hands of Ukraine again by the summer

I believe US intelligence, declassified CIA documents are some of the most reliable information about adversarial governments you could find. I just don't trust how US intelligence is disclosed to the public, since 99% of the time US casus belli based on "intelligence" turns out to be a lie. But obviously the US government has the real deal lol, so they knew.

Not being too dependent on Russian energy is a good idea, that's why shutting down nuclear power plants is a really bad move.
