It’s f*** Putin but the Russian people had nothing to do with this s*** just like we got nothing to do with these sanctions. A handful of people really exerting global pressure and setting back future relations that the subsequent generations are going to have to clean up (if we even get that chance)

I wonder what "high-threat" pathogens could be? I am sure its not a dangerous virus. I am sure the US wouldn't create a dangerous virus in another country. Because I have never seen or felt the ramifications of that. Because they simply wouldn't do that

Haven't heard no such thing, tbh. Heard plenty of former army colonels and consultants say Urkraine has no way of winning this war, but never stated this war would be "quick." These negotiations seem to signify to me that Putin has no interest in turning Urkaine into rubble which he can easily do.

You could have at least posted some sources claiming that Russia expected the war with Ukraine to be quick. Why did you post that tweet? Dude is just referencing a quote about Chechnya that has nothing to do with what's relevant right now.

At this point I have to assume you are trolling or being disingenuous. A snippet from the first article I linked (other than the title):

“The Putin plan was a short, decisive victory. A lot of guys were saying, ‘It’ll take five minutes, or two hours, and Ukraine will collapse’. Well, they’re not. The coming week is going to be really decisive,” said Pavel Felgenhauer, a Russian military expert.”

The other tweet I linked is saying that Russia’s current strategy (as of the date it was posted) is reminiscent of boasting that they could take Grozny in two hours. This is followed by multiple threads explaining WHY Russia thought it would be quick.
