Putin just now greennlighted it. Who do you think those volunteers are going to be?

Do you believe that civilians from middle eastern countries like Iran and Iraq are going to volunteer and enlist?

Why do you keep bringing up civilians?

True. I wouldn't do it either. But defending your own country in a way i can see as somewhat reasonable. But also then, the real nationalists will mostly do the fighting. I feel it's always the extremists who volunteer to fight

    Fair I guess.

Why have I been picked out? I'm not an authority on any of this stuff. I'm really not cognisant of where I get my information from to be honest.

    I like you a lot.

all good g. I respected a few of your other posts since this conflict began so I was curious. I'm trying to find global news sources better than BBC's Global News Podcast, since I've heard shenanigans with them

Just get your news from different sources. Different perspectives, that is best in any case

I'm in no position to be recommending news or how to a***yse it, I just interpret what I read as it comes. And something stinks about this whole situation is all I can definitively say. Like all I can say I've definitely learned was that Zelensky was a actor who once played a character that became the president of Ukraine.

Twitter banned that ASBMilitary propaganda account, I’ve been wondering why it’s been so quiet in here. The other sources of the same info are even less subtle.

Allowing Russian propaganda and Ukrainian propaganda so we can call out and verify the bullshit ourselves >>>

The Reuters post only called them Middle Eastern volunteers. So that could mean civilians too. Just like there are actual European civilians who volunteered to fight for Ukraine

ASBMilitary wasn’t unique. The same information is quite widely distributed on twitter. It’s just that linking it looks bad because it’s by accounts that aren’t subtle about being Pro-Russia.

Also, ASBMilitary telegram still exists and is posting the same (and worse).

You obviously don't know the military structure in Iran. The military is full of civilians.

It's mandatory for all guys to join for 2 years after they graduate school. That's the bulk of the army. At least +80% of those guys are there not because they love the regimme but because they have to be. And just like the vast majority of the civilian population they don't volunteer to go to any war outside of Iran.

The kind of people that enlist to Ayayollah aligned paramilitias and volunteer to go to yemen, syria, libya.... are the islamist extremist bunch. They will fight for Putin. There isn't that many of them tho and they are ed.

True. I mean, there are plenty of bad faith actors/propagandist on the right I would never share links from off principle.

It's just that there's so much bullshit out there on both sides, it would suck to see news from only one point of view. I wonder what they did to violate the TOS though.

If I wanted to say something weird I would go with this:

Putin's cyber army was scouting KTT2 and they realized most of Russia supporters in this thread were Muslim Qutbists so they advised Putin to call for arms from Middle East.

    Highly unlikely but strangely plausible

  • Mar 12, 2022

I advisor some users itt to take a day off this thread tomorrow

  • Mar 12, 2022

This man Putin is now offing any competent human being around him and leaving himself surrounded by yes men
    Similar to Stalin's downfall
If he doesn't stop the war Russia's f***ed beyond repair

I respect this post and no cap I was wondering why you sounded defensive about the question I asked but I just read the last two pages and I get it lmao. All good my brodie

I've yet to encounter anyone "pro-Russia" (re: this war) on this website

How can we take you guys seriously when you invent people who simply do not exist

Honestly I do feel bad for them and any other Russian citizens who are suffering right now. They had no say in this and are being fed complete BS from their government. She might not even know that Ukrainians are really dying from this "Special Military Operation".

I Said it earlier, but my manager literally has access to all news sources and believes what her parents and friends back in Russia are saying about the war (She doesn't even think it's a war). It sounds insane to us, but their freedom of speech pales in comparison to ours.
