Well yes, but Ukrainians are Orthodox or Greek Catholic.

American missionaries have spread Evangelical Christianity across the world, including - in fact, especially - already Christian areas. It makes sense if you think about it, it’s easier to get someone to a switch to a slightly different version of the same religion than a different religion altogether. Either way, American-style evangelical Christianity is now the dominant faith in Central America and it’s getting there in Brazil, places renowned for their Catholicism. Actually, the missionary effort has been so successful that at least some Brazilian churches have now begun proselytizing abroad in their own right. Another country where American Christianity has been very successful: South Korea. American university Christian student groups are often dominated by Koreans.

Luckily, the social conditions aren’t right for it to spread in Eastern Europe, but evangelical Christianity is spreading like wildfire across much of Latin America, Africa, and Asia, including countries which were already strongholds of Christianity, like Brazil, the Philippines, and Ethiopia.

Actually, a similar phenomenon is occurring in the Islamic world, as a modernist, standardized Islam is spreading at the expense of local, traditionalist Islam in countries such as Indonesia, Nigeria, and Pakistan.
