Amazing how you can't deal with the cognitive dissonance of a country becoming more racist after turning capitalist

Also see East Germany getting huge nazi problems after reunification

are yall arguing whether russia is racist or not? its f***ing RACIST AS F*** man, it is by all means a racist country. the best two things it had going for it was right-wing opposition and some forms of liberalism/libertarianism somewhere in the upper-middle class; you can bet people in the European part of the country dont care for anybody two shades darker than them

Are you incapable of reading? The discussion was about USSR, which died 31 years ago Nobody was arguing about the Russian Federation

And what do you mean it had right-wing opposition and liberalism going for it?

Maybe in the 21ST century. Even then, the basis of this argument was on the topic of American liberals trying to paint Ukraine as righteously tolerant

You should know by now the USA can gain from this. That's exactly the reason why they do that. Everyone pushes their own narrative: Ukraine, Russia, USA, EU.

I think people itt know Ukraine and Russia are scoring very low on the tolerance meter. Maybe they can deceive the general public this way tho. You should make sure they find out the truth lol

It’s just funny because people are itt happily lapping up propagandist narratives of this being about democracy and sovereignty when they don’t give two f***s about that just as much as the Russians don’t care about denazification

Nah this s*** only bout influence for these superpowers. They don't give af bout anything, only this geopolitical game trying to get countries into their sphere of influence

For the people of Ukraine it probably is about their freedom and (not so good working) democracy tho. And i hope the best for em, even if they have a lot batshit crazy right wingers among them. But that's sadly a big problem everywhere in Europe nowadays it seems. Seems only to get worse

No one said they don’t nor shouldn’t. But it provides an easy alibi for powerful leaders and businessmen who have no respect nor dedication towards those ideals to push their own agendas forward

US arms sales and US encouragement to Ukraine to sacrifice every civilian in order to drain Russia a little. Where's the outrage over this bullshit? That's the official policy for this war so far. Give them some small arms and let them slowly all die in a meat grinder. No diplomacy. No concession. Disgusting.

So many dishonest arguments, so much impotent rage about Russia like they will be shamed out of war, it's all frivolity.

I'm saying. S*** is sad, tbh. And given the air superiority that the Russians have and them controlling major points of access in the country... I doubt the majority of the weapons shipped out will even reach the correct hands. That s*** is going to get blown up.
