F*** the "Russians" in the east. This war is about Ukraine

The overarching purpose war is about NATO and Russia asserting their geopolitical ambitions using Ukraine as a chessboard

As non-Ukrainians, our government can use our support to further their own aims. Being critical of our support is the first thing we must do

And using critical thinking, I can’t support western efforts in ukraine

Yes … this isn’t really an ethnic war despite the ethnic pretense being used to justify it

Why? The West and NATO should win out over Russia, and if it helps Ukraine all the better.

Their aim isn’t to “win out” the point is to create another decade long Afghanistan in Ukraine that will grind Russia out and destabilize them

You know who gets put on the chopping block? Afghanistan

Are Russians just going around shooting civilians. I mean it’s war let’s not act like there’s not egregious actions being committed by both sides

    Worse

There’s already videos of Azovites doing the same to their own countrymen. War is hell, and as I’ve said neither side is the good one in this

The only losers are the civilians

    You forgot bout Bucha?

Also, i know soldiers of any country don't speak of murder when they eliminate targets, but for me bombing civilians (purposely or not) is murder. And they been doing that a lot

Choosing not to support Ukraine is just choosing to support Russia’s geopolitical interests. If I have to choose between Russia and the West of course any reasonable person would choose the West.

Your 2nd point has no evidence for it. There’s no evidence that NATO/US is trying to prolong the war

Them freely providing arms to politically extremist militias with virtually no oversight is enough proof

We all know full well that’s how you get another Iraq/Libya/Afghanistan/Nicaragua, and yet they are doing it again. Do you think it’s just another mistake being made or actual strategy?

Those politically extremist militias are now fighting for freedom and democracy against fascist Russia.

While I see the similarities, there is a difference: the EU committed itself to Ukraine. I don't agree with that, since Ukraine is such a corrupt country and should change a lot before even being in consideration to join, but that happened. Ukraine won't end up like Afghanistan

What evidence would there be for that to you outside of an outright admission of guilt lmao

There is a difference between the EU and NATO, and you know that

Besides that, it's in Europe. You already see the difference in how refugees are treated
