Also it's worth to mention that initially Medvedchuk was KGBist and later became a lawyer. In 1980 he was a defender for ukrainian poet Vasyl Stus who was sentenced to 10 years in prison for being "anti-soviet". You know how exactly Medvedchuk defended Stus during the trial? He just stood up and said "my defendant is guilty". That's all you need to know about this person.

Party of Shariy: leader Anatoly Shariy. Pro-russian youtuber and ukrainophobe who's also retranslating russian propaganda to ukrainians, openly collaborating with Medvedchuk and russian state TV propagandists. When Russia started false-flag operation in Donbas shelling random objects prior 24 February, Shariy blamed ZSU basically reffering russian state TV as he usually does, but in parallel to that he was convincing ukrainians that russians won't invade. Right after full-scale invasion he started massively sharing fakes about ukrainian capitulation.

Union of Left Forces: Tried to validate quasi-states LPR and DPR. Founder Vasyl Volha also collaborated with Russia.

Progressive Socialist Party of Ukraine: Openly pro-russian force, focused on diluting ukrainian identity and forcing russian culture as dominant. Founder Nataliya Vitrenko was curated by kremlin political strategists. After 2014 she ran away to Russia.

Nashi (Ours) Party: leader Yevhen Murayev. Also ukrainophobe and russophile, had ukrainian TV channels for russian propaganda, ex-member of Yanukovych and Medvedchuk parties before starting his own. After full-scale invasion he shared fakes about ukrainian capitulation and ran away to Russia.

Not once have I said Ukraine unconditionally shouldn’t be supported. I regularly donate clothing and money to friends who are Ukrainian

I do have no support for western policy towards Ukraine, nor much of its own domestic policy because of the long term effects it will have on the lives of ordinary Ukrainians

Ordinary Ukrainians are actively grateful for western aid though

If nato had landed in Ukraine, installed a government and occupied the place like I'm Afghanistan you'd be right

But this isn't an issue of the west fight in Ukraine, this is Ukraine own elected government which Ukrainians respect and consent to be governed by which is fighting. They appreciate the western aid, but their loyalty isn't with their tribe, ethnic group or the taliban (I'm no expert on Afghanistan I'm trying to show how different it is), they want to continue under the government they have and will be fiercely loyal to it
