Your claim that fascism is the ideology of the Ukrainian military as a whole is not a claim that I've seen substantiated.
If that isn’t the case would you at least say that the Ukrainian military is complacent by allowing people who openly carry these views into their organization? And would you say that the Ukrainian state as a whole is complacent by also allowing these elements to flourish?

The only open fascists I'm aware of are the Azov Battalion, who are not in the Ukrainian military but the Ukrainian National Guard. I think the Ukrainian government should definitely crackdown on that, but they should do it, you know, after they win the war.
There's a difference between the officers and the grunts.
"I don't care about the individual viewpoints of the soldiers as long as they follow the orders of the democratic government." So how do you feel if one of these open neo nazis were to go into a area that is ethnically Russian and kill the people there (civilians) would it be ok because they also follow orders?

The Ukrainian government is not ordering the killing of civilians. Nor should they be able to openly espouse Neo-Nazi symbols, but like I said it can only be dealt with after the war. Beyond that, combat soldiers are always going to be predominantly right wing. It's a right wing profession. The officership is more educated and they are the ones giving the orders.

I did not say they were. And when it comes down to at least the display of symbols it isnt hard to simply say don’t wear it, or don’t pose for that picture.
Also to your point about the profession of being a soldier being right wing. I call bs, throughout history we have seen plenty of examples of radical soldiers orchestrating or attempting to orchestrate coups. And we can also use revolutionary organizations as examples as well.
Being a soldier is a very political thing yes, but it does not have a assigned wing. Armed forces usually are aligned with the rest of the state ideology wise. So whether the state is left or right wing it doesn’t matter the armed forces will typically be aligned.

There have been radical soldiers throughout history yes, but generally speaking the military will be a bastion of conservatism. I agree with you about not displaying the symbols, I just don't understand why we have to keep hearing about it. They shouldn't do it, it's bad, but ffs there's bigger problems at the moment.
Another day another nazi symbol plastered on the front of reddit
Which symbol?
There are more Jewish Ukrainian troops than there are nazi Ukrainian troops
Is Ukraine a Jewish country?
Nah fr tho ik dudes who crawl in tunnels all day and fight but they aren’t f***ing neo nazis
They are sepah basiji militia boys?
Hate to break it to you but they cuckoo like Nazis too
Which symbol?
skull on the right, ofc the pic is noW deleted from reddit, wonder why
Heavy irony to Denis pushilin waddling his disgusting pig body to the Russian border when they haven't even started on Donetsk vs Zelensky who for all his flaws stayed with his people even when he was over 50% likely to be assassinated
One of them is a politician the other is a gangster

Most soldiers do align w the right wing

Like in Bucha?
Like in Bucha?
A lot of the azov battalion are ethnic Russian and almost all of them have Russian as a first language. Same as the nazis that are fighting for donetsk and luhansk, who have had far less exposure.

In the west yeah, elsewhere that's not so universal
You telling me these guys are fascists?

You telling me these guys are fascists?
!https://youtu.be/195fUgw3rlYIndian governments are really nice to us to be fair. There's animosity sure but they hate us less than Greece hates Turkey for reasons I dont really understand honestly
Other than Ireland, India and Pakistan (who have deeply valid reasons to dislike us) I'm kinda glad the rest of those countries hate the UK
Argentina and Russia are f***ing WOAT like wow your rust belt failed state dictatorship prone asses hate us cry us a f***ing river. Russia also has no reason to hate us up until they invaded ukraine. They should thank us for letting them keep half their gdp in london at the expense of our own citizens not getting houses
Also Ireland doesn't even hate the UK. Our governments often collaborate. Stop getting your politics from memes, that s*** was years ago and most people are able to move on and see that governments don't always represent their people (as we see in russia)
I honestly believe a lot of this is due to the Soviet Collapse being like Russia's treaty of Versailles
They were never right to be imperialist but always shake your opponents hand when you win

Fascinating documentary that tracks a Russian family in 1990 and 1997
In the event of a Russian collapse following this war, Russia must receive a Marshall plan and assistance from nato to construct inclusive institutions. Send Jimmy Carter over with a copy of Why Nations Fail. The Russian people have the right to stability, freedom and growth which they have never felt
In the west yeah, elsewhere that's not so universal
Depends. For conscripted soldiers it's of course different in general, everywhere. Regulars are usually right wing in the West, but also in Ukraine, which isn't necessarily considered 'the West' (yet)

Also being a Marxist leninist doesn't insulate you from other backwards social opinions
