one of the things i'll admit i was wrong on though was russia streamrolling ukraine. seemed way more logical in the beginning and i definitely jumped the gun on drawing conclusions from info based on unreliable pundits. between that and the actual initial invasion actually happening gotta admit thats probably the fattest L of the last 20 years for political pundits online

I didnt think russia would invade. But once they invaded I didnt think they would win easily. Because it's a country they want to "take over" rather than just destroy, they have to be somewhat more meticulous. Take their corruption, incompetence and the low motivation together and you have a problem. I don't think there is an equipment problem however.

It's not like Putin's government is raising generations of patriots happy and willing to die for their country like China does.

Putin is too scared to go full scorched earth there because Russians still feel like compatriots of Ukrainians (a one sided feeling at this point).

Yeah I agree with everything you said, I would say I vastly underestimated the sheer effect of foreign aid on ukraine and incompetence of the russian military. I didn't expect them to hold out so strongly even w/ strong foreign aid just given geopolitical power imbalance.

I never thought Russia would easily beat Ukraine, that's why i thought the invasion wouldn't happen because i didn't think Putin would be so stupid

It was never gone. The USA has cucked Germany and Germanoid elites accept it so they can stay in power. Merkel had her phone tapped for years and couldn't say s*** about it.

The way the capitalist economy is built, Australia will get some repercussions too. Although not as strong of course.

And yeah, German greens are retärded about nuclear energy. It's insane how rabid it makes them. And now they would lose face if they reverse the decision to shut down the plants at the end of this year, so they just let it be. Not that they care anyway, the Green Party here is the most pro-US party of them all. They probably will get kickbacks for all the LNG imports from the USA.

Oh don't worry friend I'm well aware that nowhere is safe.

Get your exit plan ready while u still have time.

Very unfortunate that Europe thought turning off nuclear and hydrocarbons at the same time was a good idea. They should have given me a call first.

I visited a nuclear power plant in Germany like ten years ago and they said it's perfectly safe, they were blindsided by Merkel's decision and she was the only one who did it worldwide

It was like the Miami Heat retiring Michael Jordan's number and no other team besides the Bulls doing it
