They reckon the first Wagner units have reached Moscow and Moscow residents are getting phone calls telling them to get out on the street and support the uprising.

arent you in Estonia or something

    Lmaooo this is crazy bruh

I still feel like Prigozhin just uses all of this for his own publicity. He is not a commander nor general of Wagner. They answer to actual Russian commands and rely on Russia supplying them with arms

Dude just says various s*** all the time and it’s only gotten more extreme. The Bakhmut pullout threat for example was just a cover for them eventually pulling out of Bakhmut anyways following the completion of the battle

This man is not a serious person

im genuinely annoyed they didn’t kill each other yesterday

Excuse me if I take a defense industry consultant and an Ex-British Army officer with a grain of salt suggesting Britain must ramp up its defense spending.

britain should ramp up its defense spending

the tories have cut everything. britain spends not enough on essentially every public service

britain spending less on defense means it cant help ukraine, nor help its own domestic industry in a time of economic decline

My issue was more so with his sources ("western intelligence agencies") and claims given his background and who he currently works for.

    a) holding an oil field and bombing civilians are 2 different things

b)i’m not here to push some ideology or worldview. i care about ukraine and keeping putins regime as far away from our asses as possible. you conflate opposition to russian aggression with support for each and every thing the us has ever done

maybe it’s just this war is one of the most rarely clean cut ones ever

US: pays some kurds who hold an oil field

Russia: commanding officer is named ‘the butcher of aleppo’

these two are the exact same in this scenario

wait til you see what happened to Grozny, or Mariupol if you want a more relevant case study my friend

i gotta give it to the russians they’re the best at killing their own or their allies people. imperial powers normally go for their enemies
