the thing is that Marxism bases itself as a scientific criticism of capitalism that aims to point out its inherent contradictions that lead to the material problems we see today. it isnt meant to have an inherently moral motivation. Socialism arises from the solving of these contradictions

Marx himself made it clear that socialism should't be approached morally but rather methodically.
