In the short term sure. But companies where to expand. Where do you think people like Shell, Exxon, etc will look to next? That is Russia.

Just because Russia exists now and can defend itself doesn’t mean that same condition would exist in the long term if the case that all of russias neighbors join NATO

History is a long ass game and you’re clearly not thinking about anything other than tomorrow

The Artic is where they’ll expand next. The Russia state as it is now wouldnt allow shell, exxon etc. to enter their market without somekind of compromise like the Chinese.

So… what are your thoughts on the whole history of the country you live in, USA?

US didn't have to compete for land and resources because it was built on genocide, it wasn't competition. Colonizers literally agreed not to compete with each other so they can rape and pillage the Americas and Africa.

    WESLEYS THEORY

Honestly I dont know if the majority of KTT2 is mature enough to talk about this without s*** flinging, dumb debates about Capitalism and Communism, and assumptions.

We are, but we already used up our intelligent points and talked about what we could talk about.

Time to turn it up a notch lol

I'll admit I was wrong on them invading, but realistically who would have thought Putin is stupid enough to put his country at risk with all the info that was given?

I know every who said they were going to invade were eating that s*** up for the 16th

I really don’t understand the people who are like “Fuck even ATTEMPTING to come to some sort of agreement with Russia” as if we would be contractually obligated to accept whatever terms they brought to the table.

Sanctions alone aren’t going to stop this, the EU isn’t going to cut themselves off from Russia entirely, so why not at least try? If it isn’t feasible, refuse.

What the f*** else is there to do?

  • Feb 24, 2022

    just read the obama statement,.

im sure there will be demands that regular europeans and americans "make sacrifices" to "punish russia" and it'll be more justification for neolib austerity.

meanwhile the rich and corporations will continue to get richer and make zero sacrifices.

libs just now finding out that a world capitalist economic system means competition between nations

every world war and major interglobal conflict of the past two centuries have been a result of competition between imperialist capitalist nations!

Damn living in the US means I have to love and approve of all wars now, who knew

  • I mean the risk is trying to start a war that can easily fall into Nato vs Russia.
