So let’s say 70% of the entire state of Washington sees themselves as Canadian because they were formerly a part of Canada for two centuries. They want to rejoin Canada without having to leave their homes. Are you saying that they should not be given the democratic right to vote to join Canada?

Because that’s what’s happening here. These are regions that view themselves ethnically and nationally as Russian and want to break away and aren’t being given that right by their government. So they’re fighting to leave.

So how does an ethnic majority wanting to join a country that is made up of their ethnicity imperialism? They don’t want to be a part of Ukraine and they don’t want to be Russians influencing Ukraine. They want to be Russians in Russia
