What does more Ukrainians defending themselves mean? More deaths. It’s that simple. I want less deaths. And shipping weapons doesn’t lead to less deaths on either die if it’s going to make the war last longer

Realistically the course of action that I’d most prefer is for leftist or pro western democratic organizations in Russia to use this chaos to organize a growing base and oppose the government. The army’s already rife with reluctancy to fight a foreign war, imagine their own citizens

Meanwhile in ukraine, a Russian puppet government would be wildly unpopular and unstable, so letting them come in and letting it collapse through instability or even insurgency while the Russians are away would be a way better course of action than making an open war last longer and get bloodier
