frenchpressit’s not a controversial opinion what i’m wondering is how does that opinion square with the opinion that russia invading is wrong
cus i don’t get what the mental conclusion is if you simultaneously think that it’s wrong for ukraine to be invaded but also that it’s wrong for them to receive help defending themselves

americanaGiving a country weapons that it will eventually give to Nazis for the sake of defending themselves in a war they can’t really win militarily is kinda illogical
Nazis receiving those weapons and being able to possess/distribute/use them at their own desire does nothing achieving long lasting peace and equality in the region
The Azov battalion is one of the closest units to the Russian majority Donbass region. Let’s say they’re able to push their way into the Russian centers with these newfound weapons. What do you think the course of action would be when Nazis find themselves in an area with the ethnicity of their invaders?

it's too late now. but this conflict didn't arise out of nowhere, they had 8 f***ing years! 8 years of even the West/EU condemning Ukraine's government for sympathizing with Nazis yet they literally did jack s*** to resolve the issue and instead embraced Nazi sympathizers.
The West has fumbled this entire situation so hard and hopefully revionists don't forget this. It's a lose lose no matter what, as if sending a billion dollars worth of aid now is gonna do anything but increase the number of casualties while also potentially arming violent far-right militias, who aren't gonna just disappear after the war
So because of the 1000 "nazis" who have no political powerr we cant help the country of 44 million? I hope you keep this energy for everything.
