We didn’t have power, but we did not have to live in fear of being genocided for our race. I feel you are misguided. I'm not tryna go down this rabbit whole in this thread but I'll say that Mugabe's faults weren't because of Soviet backing. There are plenty of other liberation movements that received Soviet backing that didn't go down the same road.
