The combat and mechanics in FO4 are better, but NV blows 4 out of the water with story.

the threat itself has worse implications. nukes are out of the question but legitimate NATO involvement is now on the table. this is not good at all lmao

nukes going off would mean mass extinction and the end of modern life as we know it. no leader would make that decision, but putin is using it as a threat for NATO/US to back off

To me Fallout 4 wasnt different enough from NV mechanics wise. Yes the graphics were slightly updated, but it honeslty felt like a mod with a new story mode. Also the building is kinda jank from what I remember (still a cool concept tho)

The only thing I liked was that it was more FPS focused... I hate RPGs nowadays with their damage scaling, which FO4 still has strong elements of
