IMO, these are the three major commodities necessary to a fulfilling life: time, money, and happiness. How would you power rank the three?
Here's my take:
1. Happiness: It's all about the quality of life, right? Being happy seems to be the ultimate goal we all strive for. It makes everything else worth it.
2. Time: Its irreversible nature makes it precious. Good time management can enhance both money and happiness. Plus imagine, if you had all the time in the world to do things you love.
3. Money: It's definitely important, I won’t deny that. But for me, its value kind of plateaus after a while. Without happiness or the time to enjoy what money brings, it feels a bit empty.
Enough money can reward you with the freedom to do whatever it is you want with your time, which can bring you happiness
We made money up literally
anything that falters our happiness is a product of our own design
You could die right after you're born and never find money or happiness, so time kind of has to win by default
Happiness is ultimately what drives people to chase money as hard as they do, so I would call that a more significant driving force than money
imo not a lot of money is needed. increasingly more and more, but not as much as some people want to make you believe.
and imo Happiness should be swapped with Community. having a family or a community around you literally increases your lifespan. married people just live longer. connection with other humans is paramount to a happy life
so for me it would be Community enabling Happiness>Time>Money
you wont always have money and one day your time will end, it's allllllll about who you're with while you're kicking about
Time >>>>>>>> money > happiness
There are other things which I wouldn’t describe as happiness which other people might which I would place above money though, I am using “happiness” according to my definition
i don’t care about power that s*** is for people that have been neglected in their childhood
Time isn’t given and can never be brought back. Happiness I would put after because money isn’t going to bring happiness
Time is most important because it’s the most controlling so everything else is unimportant
Manage your time wisely and the other 2 will come effortlessly
Time is the most important thing in life by a mile
Time = Freedom = Power
imagine living to 100 as a person with nonverbal autism or an incurable flesh eating disease though, time doesn't really equate to freedom
i don’t care about power that s*** is for people that have been neglected in their childhood
