Nigga stfu. You guys force this s*** everytime when PPDS gets brought up
It's not that serious I promise you
Bro shut up
hey b**** why don’t u shut up
It's not that serious I promise you
If it wasn't that serious, then why we still have people b****ing about MOTM3 not being the album they want like what they got PPDS.
Accept what's giving to you and stfu.
You got me tbh I will
i shouldn’t have said that i’m sorry
Ok, but it's still going to be its own album at the end of the day.
It doesn't matter if it sounds like "Old Cudi" just for it to be worthy of the name.
PPDS is PPDS, not MOTM3.
MOTM3 is what Cudi wanted to be, not what y'all want.
It's crazy how people spent a decade trying to push Cudi to do MOTM3 and now that he didn't give you what you wanted for that album.
Y'all want to push a album that you felt that was worthy of the name, because it sounds like the Cudi that people used to love in 09-10 smh.
PPDS was always MOTM3 to me by the way I connected to it in the same manner as 1+2. When the other MOTM3 dropped it was confirmed. It wasn’t ever about sounding like “Old Cudi” for me, it was the quality, originality, and soul of the music. 3 things that the other MOTM3 lacks from my point of view. On the other MOTM3 I think Cudi was trying to be something he wasn’t and was only released to seize the moment of his newly found popularity. Imo. Nothing wrong with that. You can also say that’s just where he was in his journey and that’s the album he wanted to make ok cool. Either way it’s pretty empty in comparison and a deviation from his original vision of the MOTM series. Totally jumped the shark.
“PPDS” is spot on with the original vision for the MOTM series. It’s way more than the sound (the “Old Cudi” sound is a bit present but that rhetoric drives me lol I like quality and truth and it just so happens that for Cudi most of it is found in his earlier catalog. “New Cudi” has some fire joints too. Entergalatic doesn’t sound like “Old Cudi” and I loved so it isn’t entirely about the sound). The deep+honest message, bare emotion, cinematic world-building, almost spiritual principles MOTM represents Cudi communicated to us himself was not present in the other MOTM3 and was potent in MOTM3. It’s like if Lil Wayne named I Am Not A Human Being as Da Drought Is Over 7. If you have an adverse reaction to that statement then you emphasize with me. This ain’t that, simple. So based on that I gave it the title. I hope that you see where I’m coming from even if you disagree. Artist to artist, I respect that his decisions are his decisions & at the same time I see and hear “PPDS” as MOTM3.
This is how you progress as an artist
Wym
The “real MOTM3” s*** is so played out at this point can’t y’all just enjoy a cudi album that doesn’t have the MOTM name

This. S*** like this is insufferable and frankly shows how ungrateful you are for the music. His decision to name an album what it is—not yours.
Crying how people s*** on PPDS when it came out now all of a sudden it’s the real motm3
Album doesn’t even sound like the MOTM sound besides like 2 songs. Has its own distinct Cudi style & sound.

Dumbest post I've read. People need to stop trying to fix other people's art in their head, just a weird thing to do. MOTM3 is perfect as it is and so is PPDS
damn 7 years to go gold??
