It’s possible they’re ignorant about the implications, but I’m not going to give the benefit of doubt simply because they’re a massive corporation. They inherently have so much plausible deniability that it would never matter to the games PR in a meaningful fashion so I don’t think that’s a valid reason to prove their innocence.
The game’s already been targeted by those types prior to release. You should be extra careful about your marketing after that.
I’m off it though niggas want to act like they can surmise revelations about a person for an observation. It’s just lazy I ain’t say the game was dogshit or that you shouldn’t play it. Enjoy

The thing is, what would Capcom really gain by dog whistling to pedos?

I’m tired of kids in games for different reasons . Especially adults voicing kids and parent simulators just more interesting stories to do in live action and gaming . It is what it is though

still early into it but the gameplay loop is surprisingly satisfying, i thought it was gonna be pretty clunky feeling from the previews. the ost is fire as well

Look I just checked their Japanese Twitter for this game and there isn't any promotion for this emoji on there which means that this is a solely US thing. So I don't think its something that was decided in some big board room at Capcom.
Its probably some social media guy who is
1. either aware of this and should then be fired
2. isn't aware. there could've been a lot of requests for this emoji online and they didn't look deep into it because I don't think a lot of people know about this correlation- Apr 18

My only thing is that I know the weirdos will def take advantage of this game with sfm in their own hidden groups...
Which is disgusting and I was hoping the game wouldn't come to PC to prevent that
But there is nothing you can do about it outside of that, just like with The Last of Us and other titles, it's unfortunate but the best thing to do is to literally ignore them and then shake them when they occasionally pop up on the surface
Weirdos does not mean we make children as characters in media taboo, they are the taboo, shame and censor them - not the media and story that is being above board itself

The fact it’s just a little girl dad game with nothing sexual at all . No reviewers mentioned anything weird besides kinda funny not liking that she drinks a juice box like robotic device . It feels like a stretch especially when we have had a slew of young male and female companions in American games . Way too many where only a select group of gamers have forced any attraction or anything sexual
Feels people ready to say it about a Japanese company . Whole time Capcom made dead rising 2 where we had a child too and isn’t weird about it
