To people asking about the long awaited rebrand/revamp: we’re now in the pre lowkey phase of this platform

In preparation I’ll be making some changes to the website from now through q1 of 2024.
A lot of new features and types of content are planned for the lowkey app, and a few things will be changing while the site is still in its current form to ease the gradual transition to the vision of the future of this platform:

• All inactive artist sxns will be phased out

• Artist sxns will be replaced with automatically-generated artist pages for every artist. It will be like having a sxn for every artist so you might not even notice

• AI will be used to automatically tag threads m with the artist(s) they’re about. This will make the threads show on artist pages.

• Artist threads will be phased out in favor of the above. People who currently maintain these threads will become “contributors” with special badges. Multiple people can be contributors.

• References to the current DM system will be removed to avoid confusion, although the messages page will stick around for now.

• Private sxns will stay the same for now. I’m still working out the details of the groups and DMs features of the lowkey app

For the most part it should just seem like a few features are being added. This is to ensure compatibility with the lowkey app.

This has been the plan for a long time, and a major revamp from the current format has been the intention from the first I began building ktt2.com - so we’re 3+ years overdue.

Think thats the idea and I am down for it. With Facebook dead and only for boomers, Twitter spiraling out of relevancy, Instagram dead in terms of organic reach and Tik Tok and YouTube being video platforms, it's time for a new forum based social media app for creative s***. We're def in a transitory period in social media history and it's time for some new players.
