I feel like Drake is gonna have some huge scandal in the 2020s
surviving drake coming 2029.
Edm beats will be brought into the spotlight in the 20’s. Especially rap. Quote me on this
nah man, music is art and that is about human expression
sure an AI generated painting would be cool but does it really have the same artistic value as a humanly made painting? it isn't expression, it's just an algorithm designed to give you pleasure instead of something honest and real
get ur head out the gutter man, these artists are starting to look and act robotic. AI rap makes sense

The artists ur talking abt are faces of corporate run record labels of course they’ll be phased out because their bosses are in it for the profit before anything else (artistry included) and tell them to ask such

I think dance music will become the new wave in rap. Uzi droppin that futsol shuffle snippet really the first peek of this wave.
In my unbiased opinion:
Drake will be on top until about 2023
Kendrick will lose relevancy around 2025 due to not dropping enough music, he will still be regarded as a legend though.
Cole will lose musical relevancy around 2021, but will remain an icon in music and most likely start some sort of podcast or interview YouTube / Video channel.
SoundCloud/memehead rappers (already irrelevant pretty much) will be completely forgotten about.
Twitter specifically and other older social media platforms lose impact on bandwagon opinions (Twitter is actually dying and losing members every month), but new era social media platforms like TikTok will eventually be used to create decent music of all genres and Generation Z artists will use it to promote their music.
As the whole 2010s decade ages, the music will age very poorly except for the staple albums that defined the era.
NBA Youngboy becomes a top 5 superstar, along with Travis, and maybe Post Malone (even though he's not really a rapper).
Street rap (as it's already getting bigger again) will add more styles to it and become even bigger until about 2022 when it becomes oversaturated.
A new type of rap where the artists are more humble and don't partake in braggadocios type lyrics or turn up s*** will become the front runner due to relatable music. The style will become a complete turn around of what we have right now.
Lots more diversity in the mainstream becomes popular again as well.
DaBaby is definitely up there too close to superstar status
Will Drake still be on top?
perhaps not the entire decade but for the next 5 years or so I think he has it locked in
Will Kendrick still be putting out classics?
yes
Will Kanye keep putting out gospel albums?
no he'll move on

What do you call it now
Tiktok music ?
223s will go extinct thus the rise of the 7.62s
Line will include but not limited to
“762s hitting you and your boo”
“762 knock him out of his shoes”
“762s going do do do do”
You get the point.

This is just the beginning
These past couple years there's been the rise of Asian rappers..
I think the 2020's will be the rise of Latino rappers.. latin trap albums where they rap in English and Spanish
Maybe they'll be a Latino 88rising
