I haven’t really tried it to know but From what I can see of how it works, you can prompt it to be like “make this sound like an 80’s singer” or like how 50 cent had the 1950’s many men

They could stop right there with the generic voice AI comes back with or i imagine could also make his actual voice sound closer to a 1980’s singer which would be closer to what you’re saying

I can see people like Kodak and Yachty doing country/alternative/pop songs like this or straight up throwing songs they made into AI to turn it into another genre

As far as why this over autotune I guess to kinda do something diff than autotune which is kinda over done now
