As a celebrity he’s likeable and not problematic
A lot of style is borrowed from Drake so it makes sense his music is accessible to a mainstream audience
He seems like a genuinely good person and doesn’t appear to be naive or an idiot
He isn’t as controversial as someone like Lil Nas X, and his music is more rap while Nas X makes more Pop
He hasn’t said any weird disrespectful comments about rap like Post Malone has, and his fanbase seems to be more grounded in Hip Hop compared to Post who has a more Pop/Rock audience
He shares the talent of being able to actually spit bars and make catchy songs, like Drake
And let’s be honest, being White makes him more marketable to a wider audience
Jack Harlow won't exist in another 3 years time when the labels uninstall his AI software and put it into some other white "rapper". The guy is literally an AI invented by labels and New Balance to milk white zoomers
You mean like Macklemore in 2013? We've seen this play out before but anything is possible.

I was rooting for him until his album dropped, everything from the cover to the music was just so

Macklemore has one of the best selling rap singles OAT and his album almost did as well as NWTS in terms of sales.
But we've seen him fizzle out and his fans stray away from him when G Eazy and Logic started blowing up.
Many people swore Macklemore would be the next thing in rap for all the things the OP listed but it didn't happen.
